BUL FC PRIORITIZES SAFEGUARDING AND INTERGRITY

BUL FC Chairman Ronald Barente conducted a comprehensive safeguarding workshop for the club’s senior and junior teams, as well as the female team, Jinja City Queens.

The workshop, which was held over two days, covered essential topics such as safeguarding, prevention, and the role of safeguarding officers. Chairman Barente also educated participants on the main forms of abuse, signs of abuse, and the importance of reporting any concerns.

The senior and junior teams attended the workshop on wednesday 27th, while the Jinja City Queens team joined the session today.

In addition to safeguarding, Chairman Barente also addressed the critical issue of match fixing. He emphasized the dangers of match fixing, its consequences, and the importance of fair play.

We want to ensure that all our teams, including our female team, are equipped with the knowledge and skills to prevent abuse and promote integrity in sport,” said Chairman Barente.
