Uganda Premier League
FUFA Technical Centre
BUL FC Vs URA FC
Kick-off: 4PM
In a highly anticipated match, BUL FC will host URA FC at the FUFA Technical Center Njeru in the Uganda Premier League season opener. The match is scheduled to kick off at 4:00 PM East African Time.
This encounter is particularly intriguing given URA FC’s coach, Alex Isabirye, has a past connection with BUL FC, having led the team to the Uganda Cup triumph in 2022.
Last season, BUL FC emerged victorious in both league games against URA FC. The team will look to build on that momentum as they seek a strong start to the new season.
Team News
Assistant Coach Simeon Massa quoted;
“The team is well-prepared for the match. After our recent encounter with URA in the FUFA Super 8 third-place match, where we lost at the FUFA Stadium Kadiba, we’ve worked hard to correct the mistakes we made and we’re now ready to face them in the Uganda Premier League. The mood among the boys is good and the morale is too high.”
BUL FC will be without the services of Richard Okello and Swabiru Mpasa who are dealing with minor injuries. However, the rest of the squad is available for selection.
Forward Isaac Wagoina remarked.
“l thank the almighty God for the gift of life to all the family of BUL FC.
The coaches have prepared us so well, and we are ready to face URA tomorrow.”
“The team is eager to start the new season on a strong note and l call upon fans to rally behind us in big numbers and support us to see that we take the maximum points in the opening match of the season.”
