Coach Abbey’s remarks
As we prepare to face Express FC in our second-round opener, I’m confident that we’re ready for the challenge. Our first-round encounter against the same opponents ended in a draw, but we’ve worked hard to address the mistakes that cost us the three points.
We’ve had a productive break, and the boys are eager to get back to action. We’ve identified and rectified our weaknesses, particularly in front of goal. I’m pleased to say that we’ve made significant strides in that department, and I expect our attacking prowess to be on full display today.
We’re aware that playing away from home presents its own set of challenges, but we’re well-prepared and focused on securing all three points. The team is hungry for success, and I have no doubt that they’ll give it their all on the pitch.
We’re looking forward to a tough but exciting encounter against Express FC, and we’re confident that our preparations will yield a positive result.
Joel Mutakubwa’s remarks
As we head into the second round of the Uganda Premier League, I’m confident that we’ve had adequate preparation to take on the challenges ahead. We’re well aware of what’s at stake, and we’re determined to turn our fortunes around after a few setbacks in the first round.
Although we lost some valuable points in the first round, we’re eager to bounce back and rejoin the title race. Our focus is firmly fixed on securing all three points against Express FC, and we’re not intimidated by the fact that they’ll be playing at home.
The team is ready for the encounter, and we’re calling on all our fans to come out and rally behind us. Your support means the world to us, and we need your energy to drive us forward.
