MATCH: BUL FC Vs KITARA FC
LEAGUE: Uganda Premier League
DATE: Wednesday May 12, 2021
VENUE: Masindi Municipal Stadium @4PM]
BUL football club travel to Masindi Municipal Stadium looking to make it four games unbeaten when they face Kitara on Wednesday afternoon.
The Eastern Giants secured victory against Kigezi Home Boyz and managed one all draws with SC Villa and Mbarara City in their immediate last matches.
Currently six points clear of danger with eight games to play, Alex Isabirye’s team will be targeting maximum points that will potentially see them leapfrog Wakiso Giants to ninth place.
BUL FC have, however, gone three games without a win on the road, and occupy the 10th position in the league with 26 points accumulated from 22 matches but will be looking to repeat their home performance against The Masindi side in mid March when Deogracious Ojok and Simon Peter Oketch netted in a 3-2 victory.
The hosts on the other hand are found at the base of the 16 team log with nine points, 15 adrift of Onduparaka that sit in 13th, the last place of the safety zone .
Although they have suffered 17 defeats in their 22 UPL games, they did beat Wakiso Giants earlier on this campaign, won against Kyetume in late April and recently picked a point off Busoga United.
This Wednesday’s encounter will be the second meeting between the two sides in history.
