TECHNICAL: BUL FC SECURES FUTURE WITH COACH ABBEY’S CONTRACT RENEWAL

BUL FC is delighted to announce that Head Coach Bogere Abbey Kikomeko has signed a new two-year contract, extending his stay with the club until the end of the 2026/27 season.

Coach Abbey joined BUL FC ahead of the 2023/24 campaign, taking over from interim coach Simon Massa. Since his appointment, he has led the team through a period of consistent growth and competitive excellence. His tenure has already seen BUL FC lift back-to-back FUFA Super 8 trophies in 2023 and 2024.

In the 2023/24 season, Coach Abbey guided BUL FC to a historic second-place league finish, just one point shy of the championship title.
The team followed that up with a third-place finish in the 2024/25 season, solidifying its place among Uganda’s top football clubs.

I call on our fans to stand with us and work together as one family. I’m grateful to the chairman, and the board for trusting me to lead BUL FC for another two seasons, even amid current challenges.
