The game started brightly for BUL FC, with Jerome missing a chance in the 4th minute. However, Lugazi FC took the lead in the 26th minute through Freedom Mungudit after goalkeeper Tom Ikara fumbled with the ball in the box.

BUL FC equalized early in the second half through Abdul Karim Ndugwa who tapped in from Denis Sewagudde cross from the left flank.

Lugazi FC regained the lead in the 84th minute through Paul Busolo, sealing the win for the hosts.
