The Eastern Giants Stay Perfect at Njeru! 💚💛

BUL FC maintained our 100% start to the 2026/27 StarTimes Uganda Premier League season with an emphatic 4-1 victory over newcomers Ntugasaze FC at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru this evening.

Coach Alex Isabirye’s charges started with intent and it was Swabiru who came close in the 7th minute with a powerful effort that whistled just over the bar. Three minutes later, he made no mistake.

10′ GOAL. Simon Achidi with a brilliant cross from the right, and Swabiru arrives to shake the net! 1-0.

We pushed for a second and Martin Aprem nearly doubled the lead in the 13th minute but his tap went just over. We dominated possession up to the first water break in the 24th minute.

Against the run of play, Ntugasaze found an equalizer through Fahad Nsamba in the 30th minute. Achidi almost restored our lead instantly in the 33rd, but his effort went begging.

Just before the break, our pressure paid off.

43′ GOAL! Martin Aprem restores our lead with a composed finish! 2-1 at halftime.

The boss was forced into an early second-half change, with Reagan Kalyowa replacing injured goalscorer Swabiru in the 46th minute. David Mugalu also came on for Derrick Byabacwezi in the 51st minute.

The game became physical, with Frank Katongole (55′) and Cyrus Kibande (63′) both going into the book before the second water break in the 67th minute.

Coach Isabirye’s double change in the 70th minute proved masterful – Pascal and Sowedi on for Katongole and Kasonko to add fresh legs.

75′ GOAL! Substitute Reagan Kalyowa makes it three! 3-1 and Njeru erupts!

85′ GOAL! And the icing on the cake! SIMON ACHIDIIIIII with a stunner to make it 4-1!
