BUL FC’s good run against Express faced a halt on Saturday afternoon as they were defeated 4-0 by the Flying Eagles after a poor first half which saw them go into the break 3-0 down.

The visitors got off to the perfect start as they took the lead in the 10th minute through a Murushid Juuko header and they continued to capitalise on BUL’s poor start, making it 2-0 one minute after half hour mark when Ibrahim Mugulusi turned Kiggundu’s tempting freekick into his own net.

Godfrey Lwesibawa’s strike made it 3-0 to Express and all but sealed the win for them as the two teams went into half time.

Richard Wandyaka and Musa Esenu were gifted with chances in opening half before damage would be subjected to the hosts but declined to convert them.

BUL needed a goal early on the second stanza to have any chance of mounting a come back but the boys simply didn’t carry their scoring boots on the day.

Express scored one more goal via Ibrahim Kayiwa to make it a bad night at the office for Arthur Kyesimira’s men.

This was BUL FC’s second defeat at home following a 2-0 loss to URA FC that came before the league went into recess and second in succession after a 2-0 loss to Police FC on Tuesday.

The Jinja City soccer giants have now collected seven points from eight games

They will travel to St Mary’s Stadium to face Vipers SC on Tuesday February 23 at 4PM in their next Uganda Premier League encounter.
