BUL Football Club will face either Kigezi Home Boys or Kitara FC in the last 16 stage of the Uganda Cup competition.
Arthur Kyesimira, the Eastern Giants’ gaffer, has reacted to the draw that was conducted on Thursday at Federation Of Uganda Football Associations headquarters and remains cautious and believes his team will face a very tricky side regardless of who will qualify to set up the tie with them at the round of 16.
“It is a very tricky tie. It is not a tie you can say it will be an easy ride or very challenging,” he said.
The Eastern Giants overcame Blacks Power FC with a sounding 5-1 aggregate advantage at the round of 32 of this knockout competition but the coach has forewarned his players the fixture will not be a walk in the park for them, noting that Kigezi Home Boys, who are not well placed in Rwenzori group of the Fufa Big League or Kitara FC, who are evidently at the bottom of Uganda Premier League table, are capable of posing danger.
Kyesimira added, “These are ties where you feel the challenge of David and Goliath.”
” So, we have to be very vigilante. We have to be up to standard and we must take up our home advantage in the first leg and then just finish the job in the return leg away from home.”
BUL FC were kicked out from this competition by West Nile regional league team Mvara Boys at the round of 32 last season in Arua.
The round of 16 matches will be played between May 1 and May 6, 2021
