BUL football club took a huge stride towards the last 16 of the 47th Uganda Cup edition with a comfortable triumph in Bukedea.

A strike pairing of Simon Peter Oketch and Deogracious Ojok gave the Eastern Giants a two-goal lead to take into Thursday’s second leg in Jinja City.

Oketch’s composed finish put Arthur Kyesimira’s side in front with nineteen minutes into the game, with Ojok’s strike that came eight minutes later provided the Jinja side with a two- goal cushion at the Emokori grounds on Easter Monday.

There was also game time for Anwar Ntege, Denis Okot Oola and Charles Sempa as Ojok, Peter Onzima and Peter Oketch made way for them in 74th, 76th and 78th minutes respectively.

BUL FC will host the return leg of this encounter on Thursday April 8 at Kyabazinga Stadium.
